As a basic principle, businesses are legally obliged to actively undertake steps to prevent potential malpractice on the part of their employees. The risks that companies take through failing to implement compliance measures range from reputational damage and existence-threatening claims for damages to criminal penalties.
We took the lead in coordinating the drafting of the GKV Code of Conduct to assist business owners and managers. Around 200 companies in the plastics processing industry have signed it.
Our IK Academy also offers regular seminars and practical workshops on the subject of compliance. In addition, we have worked with legal experts to develop the web-based e-learning modules “Antitrust Law” and “Corruption – Basic Prevention”.
