Energy efficiency network

Saving energy not only brings economic benefits – it is first and foremost very sustainable. The best type of energy for our environment is the one that is never used. This was the guiding principle that led us in 2018 to team up with 18 member companies to found the first energy efficiency network in the German plastics packaging industry. Network participants meet on a regular basis to discuss their experience and exchange ideas relating to the issue of energy efficiency.

They have already agreed a concrete reduction target: all co-signatories have been members of the German government’s Energy Efficiency Networks Initiative. Together, the members of the network intend to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by five million tonnes.

You can find news about the milestones reached on this path here.
