Consumer protection<\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner column_margin=”default” text_align=”left”][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” width=”1\/2″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]As IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen e.V., we promote packages that are safe and which make it easier for people to use goods. Both aims support consumer protection.<\/p>\n

Food packaging makes up the largest share of all plastic packages produced in Germany. The topic of food contact is extremely sensitive for the protection of consumers. Pharmaceutical packages, which we address in a dedicated working group, are subject to rigorous requirements.<\/p>\n

Plastics are governed by strict legal regulations. Consumer demands and occupational safety provisions in businesses are also high. We support or members in complying with them.<\/p>\n

To this end, we also review our practical guide \u201cPlastic Packages in Direct Contact with Food\u201d on a regular basis.
